Joanne serves as managing principal with DuckerFrontier. She began her career with the company as an industry research analyst, and today leads DuckerFrontier’s global consulting practice. Joanne brings more than 25 years of experience in research and strategy development. Her specific areas of focus include buying behavior analysis, segmentation, competitive intelligence, customer and market due diligence, customer analysis, benchmarking, strategy development, and execution. She has particular expertise in construction equipment, off-road vehicles, chemicals, industry products, and building and construction products.
Prior to joining DuckerFrontier, Joanne worked as a marketing manager at a leading business products company and a research analyst for a human resources consulting firm. She is an active participant in the American Marketing Association, the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, the Business Marketing Association, the Institute for the Study of Business Markets, and the Laubach Literary Society. She also serves on the Michigan State University Marketing Leadership Board and the Oakland Family Services Board of Trustees, in addition to extensive philanthropic work. Joanne was one of 10 recipients of the 2007 Top 10 Michigan Business Women, Global Business Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University.
