Last month DuckerFrontier held an Executive Network event in Moscow. The event focused on how to win in 2020 by helping multinational executives develop optimal growth plans for Russia.
The lack of harsh US sanctions is supporting greater confidence in the economy thanks to a stronger and more stable ruble, more certainty in the market, and slowing price growth. These conditions will benefit consumers and businesses, leading to rising sales into 2020 from improving demand. Greater fiscal spending, particularly in healthcare, and increasing digitalization of the business environment will present new opportunities as well as challenges. Multinationals need to focus on ways to get closer to their customers to identify increased pockets of demand in both their offline and online channels.
In this short video, Mark McNamee, Head of Research for Russia/CIS, shares key takeaways from the discussion.
